Chris creates the image on paper before transferring this onto metal sheet, then manipulates both sides of the metal. After which he uses patinas and metal leaf to create these most unusual pictures.
Some of his work has been influenced by ancient sybolisum,
stripping an image back to it's most simplistic form, almost naive.
Rather than show the rabbit in a realistic setting I placed these symbols around it to represent it's landscape, simply a representation of trees, water, woods etc.
His work is very popular, normally selling via recommendations, commissions and galleries in the UK and Europe.
